Privacy Training Workshops (2018)

This workshop provides intensive privacy training on requirements regarding the handling of personal information under the Commonwealth Privacy Act's Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) for private sector organisations and Commonwealth public sector agencies.

The course, which is up-to-date with the latest developments, equips participants with a detailed understanding of:

 •  legal requirements regarding managing personal information under the APPs;
 •  how to apply the laws in practical situations; and
 •  how to identify and manage privacy issues and incidents.

Attendees receive a Participant Handbook containing detailed materials and information (suitable for subsequent use as a privacy reference handbook).

The workshop is followed by a Data Breach Notification Scheme Training Workshop (1.5hrs) on the same day. The workshops can be undertaken separately or together as a package - see below.
